Our Cookie Policy

We think it’s important to keep you informed about how we use the information we gather from you whilst you use the Dsposal website. This page, along with our Privacy Policy, explains how we use cookies and by using our site you agree to us using cookies in this way.
What’s a cookie?
A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that is downloaded onto your computer, phone or tablet when you access a website. Cookies are used to collect information about how you use a site. They enable sites to work more efficiently by distinguishing between users and recognising when you’ve visited a site before.
If you’d like to find out more about cookies, visit www.aboutcookies.org.
How to manage your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the button. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Cookie categories
We group cookies into four categories:
1. Strictly Necessary
These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They include authentication, security, and basic functionality cookies.
| Cookie | Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__session | Clerk | Authentication session | Session |
__client_uat | Clerk | Client auth token timestamp | Session |
sidebar_state | Dsposal | Sidebar collapse preference | 7 days |
cc_cookie | CookieConsent | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 1 year |
2. Functional
These cookies enable core functionality such as error monitoring (Sentry) and embedded content. They help us identify and fix issues quickly. These are always on.
3. Analytics (opt-in)
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the website by collecting and reporting information. You can opt in or out at any time.
| Cookie | Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique users | 2 years |
_gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique users | 24 hours |
_clck | Microsoft Clarity | Persists Clarity user ID | 1 year |
_clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Connects page views into a session | 1 day |
Google Consent Mode v2: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use Google Consent Mode v2. They load in a “cookieless” mode before you give consent — no identifying cookies are set, but anonymous, cookieless pings may be sent to support aggregate measurement. Full tracking only activates after you grant analytics consent.
Sentry session replay is also controlled by analytics consent. When enabled, it records anonymised session replays to help us debug issues.
4. Marketing (opt-in)
These cookies are used to track visitors across websites to display relevant advertisements. They are only loaded after you grant marketing consent.
| Cookie | Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
li_fat_id | Conversion tracking | 30 days | |
li_sugr | Browser identifier | 30 days | |
__hs* | HubSpot | Various tracking cookies | 13 months |
hubspotutk | HubSpot | Visitor identity tracking | 13 months |
